Earlier this week I received a message from Mr. Tyler Lee. Tyler's wife happened to
stumble across the blog and was intrigued by our ARDEX posts. Since this couple owns a construction company, they were instantly interested in trying ARDEX out on one of their own projects. For their first try, Tyler covered all the shelves of this custom built media center in the Feather Finish product.

We love, love how the media center turned out! It's so chic, modern, and beautiful! Bravo Tyler! Now we can't wait to see all the shelves styled up!

We get lots of questions about what sealer to use on ARDEX. Although we tell you the specific sealer we've used on our DIY countertops post, there are a number of products that would work. Tyler used a clear polyurethane to seal his shelves and he felt like the finish was great!

If you live in the Ellensburg, WA area, Tyler is available to do custom ARDEX work for you! You can check out more about his company right here. Give him a call and let him know you saw him on the blog! :)
In the past, we've posted projects using ARDEX in the kitchen and bedrooms. Next we're moving to the bathroom!! We've had multiple people ask if it's possible to use ARDEX in a shower setting. Well, we wouldn't use the Feather Finish, but there is a product that we think would work really well! We're going to try it out in the next few weeks and we will let you know how it goes! :) We're so excited about the project. . . . and about having a finished shower! :)
